Will take you on a guided tour of the Dargaville Museum which houses artefacts recovered from sailing ships, wrecked on our coastline. The kauri gum history portrayed in displays and murals.

Ernies Kumara Show, and a visit to Zizania, paper mill. Heading north up Ripiro Beach, passing ship wreck sites namely The Whaling ship “the Dragon” and the French man of war “L'Alcmene.” The monument for a great Maori battle, buried Kauri trees on the beach, Kai iwi Lakes, walk though Trounson Park, stop at Nelsons Kaihu Kauri Gallery, returning to Dargaville at 4pm.
